This is a cover of Celes from Final Fantasy VI, with the words adapted from one of several translations used in various releases of the theme over the years (concerts, etc.) It was a request by a good friend of mine, and I'm really pleased with how it came out. It's always a risk doing a cappella, let alone doing it with VOCALOIDs, and in this case I wanted to be as true to the original arrangement as possible, which meant I couldn't cover up or hide any of the inevitable shortcomings of synthesized voice. I think, however, that's what gives it a unique charm and makes for a great track. It is raw, and surprisingly passionate for a synthesized vocal cover of a video game song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
